The differences between TDC and TDF flanges

The TDC plug-in flange machine is a cold-rolled forming equipment with plug-in flanges (C/S type edges) specifically designed for rectangular ventilation ducts. It is used to replace traditional angle steel flanges, achieving material saving, high efficiency, good sealing, and high strength in the connection of ventilation ducts. 

I. Structure and Principles 

• Composition: Unloading feeding rack → Cold rolling forming machine (multiple sets of precision rollers) → Continuous cutting with fixed length (small burrs) → Discharge platform. 

• Principle: The galvanized steel strip undergoes multiple continuous cold bending by rollers to form a TDC flange profile (C-shaped outer edge, S-shaped inner edge) in one step. The process includes automatic feeding, shaping, and cutting. 

II. Main Models and Parameters 

Common models: T-20/T-30/T-35/T-40 (flange height 20–40mm). 

• Processing thickness: 0.6 - 1.2mm galvanized sheet. 

• Formation speed: Approximately 6 meters per minute, automated production. 

• Drive control: CNC numerical control, precise fixed-length measurement, and automatic glue application can be equipped.

V. TDC vs TDF (Common Flange) 

• TDC Plug-in Type: Independent flange strip, easy to install and disassemble, with better sealing performance, suitable for large-sized/high-pressure ducts. 

• TDF panel type: The flanges are directly rolled at the air duct ends, resulting in lower costs and being suitable for small and medium-sized low-pressure air ducts.
